When you are in the infinity pool, this is your view. In person it is amazing and at night if you sit in the pool after dark you'll be able to see the fireflies hovering above the water. |

Low Season : 900bht Double Garden Room AC
Stayed: June 2014
The ploy was a nice change from the standard basic Guest House. With an infinity pool, clean rooms and great service it was one of my favourites. Being Low season we arrived in the afternoon, without a reservation and we were able to get a room within 15 minutes, as there were three of us they put in an extra bed (300 bht) The lady on reception was friendly and spoke good english and the Guest House itself offered a lot of extras, we booked a trip to Erawan, had our laundry done (20bht per Kg) and booked a bus back to Bangkok. I’d advise getting the bus rather than the train, it took us straight to Khao San for 150bht, the train is 100bht to Thorn Buri station and you’ll have to pay the taxi fare on top to get back into the city. The only thing is you might have to share the room with some lizards as there is a LOT of wildlife around this place and they can easily get under the doors although it didn’t bother us. It’s close to a Tesco and 7/11 and on the weekends there is some amazing street food and bars literally next to the GH, although we couldn’t hear anything from the room. I’d definitely recommend this if you want somewhere to stay for a couple of nights if you’re doing the Erawan trip and fancy something a little different from the bog standard GH, it’s nothing special but the infinity pool over the river at sunset and rise is a pretty amazing view and it’s a nice place to relax and get away from Bangkok. In high season I’d recommend booking as we struggled to get a second night here.
