Bath has to be one of the prettiest places I've visited in a long time. It has shops, pattiseries, the Roman Baths and a fair few Museums. We took a day out last summer, the photo below is one of the first things you see when you get off the train, the city is filled with old buildings and amazing architecture.

You can't visit Bath and not see the Roman Baths, they're right in the centre of the city pretty much and easy to get to. As well as the Baths themselves it's surrounded by changing rooms and saunas, complete with underfloor heating - a museum of Roman artifacts, and the People of Aquae stills. Admissions aren't to steep either and well worth visiting if you're in the area.
These are a few shots from around Bath and the little streets, there's a Jane Austin Centre, detailing her novels and the time she lived in Bath for five years, see the famous man on the door dressed in period costume too! We spent the afternoon looking around the little boutique shops, of which there are many and treated ourselves to tea and cake at Patisserie Valerie. This is a great place to visit for the day and well worth a visit however long it takes you to get there.
