The best Cocktail bars in nottingham

BOILER MAKER, Hockley

This is a truly unique bar right in the centre of Nottingham, fronted by a boiler room, the entrance takes you through into the back room with a door adorned with a sink which leads you into the main bar. This is table service only, so it'll never be too crowded. Open from 5pm this is a great location for a date or a night of cocktail with a group of friends. It's converted old building, with booths in stables. The cocktails offered are a fun mix of themed drinks, the rum QMC and cereal Killa'h are two of my faves, the Rum QMC, shown on the left below is a fruity favourite of mine with a red syrup syringe in the top. The famous cereal killa'h, served in a mini cereal box tastes like a yummy combination of almond milk, crunchy nut and alcohol, it's not for everyone but it's a unique cocktail and one of my favourites or go for the Edison Medicine MK. III, shown below centre, a refreshing cocktail garnished with a couple of glow sticks, because; why not?

Pitcher & Piano, Lace Market

This bar is awe inspiring, built inside an old church it's a firm favourite for both drinks and food. The old piano is a great perch for some cocktails, while the comfy booths line the edges of the room facing to the bar in the centre. My favourite cocktail from here is the Sweet Tart (although I believe they differ between bars) which is a gorgeous combination of gin and blackberries.

Curious Manor, Trinity Square

Located next to the Cornerhouse this quirky first floor bar won't disappoint. Visit here at happy hour for a variety of classics and original cocktails.

Coco Tang, Lace Market

With a mixture of students and professionals this cocktail bar / club is a great spot for a 'classy' night out. With an eclectic cocktail menu this is one of my favourites and is a great night in a quirky underground bar.

Rocket at Saltwater, Cornerhouse

A great option for a cocktail on a warm summer night, Saltwater is located at the top of the cornerhouse, with a classic compilation of cocktails it's a great place to head after a trip to the cinema and a sit outside in the terrace on a warm night.
